London-based artist, producer and song-writer Ryan Doyle’s latest offering comes in the form of ‘Nobody Like You’, a track that brings energetic instrumentation through a gleaming electric guitar, bouncy piano and pumping drums. This all supports a lively vocal performance that perfects a melting pot of disco, house and pop ripe for getting listeners moving on the dance floor. There’s a joyful electricity that Doyle brings across that would bring sunlight to the darkest of days.
On the new release he says, “Everything about ‘Nobody Like You’ is just fun! I wrote it with one of my best friends, Finn Thornton, and every session we had was just 2 friends enjoying themselves making music, and I think the lyrics showed that. I knew that when I produced the track I had to keep it true to the writing sessions and I think that's why it’s ended up being a feel-good summer bop!”
Ryan began his career posting remixes made from his bedroom online, settling in on a sound that blended dance-pop and house inspirations. This blossomed into original music with his debut single ‘Slow Motion’ emerging in 2022 and was closely followed by his track ‘Cry for Love’, which went on to grab attention and support from BBC introducing. Doyle’s release of ‘Closer’ earlier this year garnered widespread, critically acclaimed press support, cementing Ryan’s impressive growth over his first three releases.
It’s a rite of passage for anyone making house music to create a track that becomes someone’s favourite summer anthem. With ‘Nobody Like You’, Doyle has ticked this box. Next up, we can expect a string of releases from the artist, which, following suit from his past momentum, suggests 2023 to be a big year for Ryan’s progress.
