MAX RAD RELEASES LATEST SINGLE 'HOLDING ON'

An amalgamation of sonic sensibilities is exactly what we’ve come to expect from MAX RAD, a Gloucestershire-based producer/artist with a distinctly lucid and dreamy production style that refuses to shy away from the unorthodox. ‘Holding On’ is the new single, preceding Max’s new EP ‘Getting Better’ which promises to entice listeners like never before, pushing Max’s boundaries as a producer and tugging on your heart strings at the same time. As Max opens up lyrically, delivering bittersweet, poetic lines, organic samples with a worldly influence permeate through to the forefront of the track.

With support under his belt from the likes of Wonderland, Notion, CLASH, DORK and The Line Of Best Fit among others, Max’s new EP released through his own label, Three Sign, promises to be his best yet.

Speaking about the single, MAX RAD shares, "This track is about hitting troubled times in relationships, when you have to really dig deep and find trust in the things that brought you together. We can all walk away from things far too easily and good things often require work, but if you trust the love and know deep down its right, then all you can do is hold on and get through those dark places."

MAX RAD's previous releases, including the funk-fueled "Where Are We Now?" on Kitsuné Musique and the evocative double EP "Save Me From Myself" with breakout track "Back Around," have garnered widespread acclaim and support across radio stations and the blogosphere. With a sold-out show history and notable festival appearances across the UK and Europe, MAX RAD continues to establish himself as a standout talent in the UK electronic music scene.

His debut album ‘Joy Wonder’ dropped in February 2023 on his own label Three Sign, and has been making regular appearances on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Introducing shows across the country. Max also remixed American producer obli’s track ‘Deeper’, released via ODESZA’s label Foreign Family Collective in March ‘23. He has also started a new ambient side project, max says relax, created to help sufferers of anxiety and depression.

Hailing from the quiet rural town of Stroud in Gloucestershire, MAX RAD discovered his passion for music at a young age, beginning to write and record songs at just six years old. After relocating to London in 2018, he delved into production, co-writing, and mixing for both emerging and established artists, immersing himself in the city's vibrant music scene. Now based in Bristol, MAX RAD embraces his role as a truly independent artist, crafting heartfelt and introspective music that resonates with listeners on a profound level.
