FEBUEDER RETURN WITH THE ETHERAL GEM 'VALLEY OF GEM'

With previous performances including COLORSxSTUDIOS for their singles ‘Morning Yawn’ and ‘Réseau’, as well as press acclaim from the likes of Line of Best Fit and Wonderland, avant-indie duo Febueder has announced the release of their newest single ‘Valley Of Kins’.

Hailing from Ascot, England, Febueder comprises the instrumentalist Kieran Godfrey and percussionist Samuel Keysell. Their name (pronounced Fe-byou-der) is more than a made-up appellation, it’s the palette from which they present their emotionally deft songwriting and progressive approach to rhythm and melody.

The track opens with plucky and swirling percussive sounds, building through an introduction of a swaying brass ensemble and synth stabs. As the elegant lead vocals enter, they deliver poetic lyricism and further serve the untethered ethereal atmosphere. The orchestration expands further into complex strings and rising drum rhythms that begin to drown the angelic voices before they re-emerge into a soft cloud of reverberant arrangements.

Kieran Godfrey comments on the track, "Valley Of Kins is a story of salvation, closure and new beginnings.”

Seeing success across their decade-long career, the duo first flew into the spotlight with their 2013 EP ‘Soap Carv’ featuring the track ‘Alligator’. Since then they’ve released two full-length albums and multiple EPs, continuing to showcase their talent for crafting inventive soundscapes.
